E0 - Indoor Unit EEPROM Chip Error

E1 - Indoor / Outdoor unit communication error

  • Shut the power off. Then turn the unit on 2 minutes later. Does the error still appear?
    • Yes
      Measure the voltage between L2 and S of outdoor unit. Connect the red pin of multimeter with L2 port, black pin with S port). Is the voltage always a positive value?
      • Yes
        Check all the wiring with the outdoor unit. Check the outdoor PC board wiring of L,N,S. Also check the wiring of the reactor. Is the wiring to the outdoor main PCB connected correctly? Is the reactor connected well?
        • Yes
          Measure the resistance value of the reactor. Is the normal resistance values within the range of 0 to 1 O?
          • Yes
            If the error continues to exist, replace the outdoor main PC Board. Does the error still exist?
            • Yes

              Replace the indoor main PCB - If the problem persists please contact Innovair Customer Support - info@innovair.com

E2 - Zero crossing signal detection error

  • Shut the power off. Then turn the unit on 2 minutes later. Does the error still appear?

E3 - Indoor fan motors speed malfunctioning

  • Shut the power off. Then turn the unit on 2 minutes later. Does the error still appear?
    • Yes
      Shut off the power supply and rotate the fan by hand. Is the fan rotating normally?
      • Yes
        Check the wires of fan motor. Are all the connections good?
        • Yes
          Turn the unit on to standby mode. Measure the voltage for the fan motor from the main indoor PC Board. For 220V Pin1 to Pin3 = 200V~380V Pin 4 to Pin 3 = 14V~17.5V For 110V Pin1 to Pin3 = 140V~190V Pin 4 to Pin 3 = 14V~17.5V Are the measures within range?
          • Yes
            Replace the fan motor. No Has the issue been resolved?

            Turn the power on and set the unit as running in high speed mode. 15 seconds later, measure the pin voltage from Pin1 to Pin2 in fan motor connector. Is the value of the voltage is less than: 100V for 208~230 power supply 50V for 115V power supply

      Shut off the power supply and rotate the fan by hand. Is the fan rotating normally?
      • Yes
        Check the wires of fan motor. Are all the connections good?
        • Yes
          Turn the unit on to standby mode. Measure the voltage for the fan motor from the main indoor PC Board. For 220V Pin1 to Pin3 = 200V~380V Pin 4 to Pin 3 = 14V~17.5V For 110V Pin1 to Pin3 = 140V~190V Pin 4 to Pin 3 = 14V~17.5V Are the measures within range?
          • Yes
            Replace the fan motor. No Has the issue been resolved?

  • Is the power supply voltage normal?

      Are all connecting wires secure?

        Power on and when the unit is in standby, check if the voltage between P and N is around DC 310V or 340V or 380V? Then start up the unit, measure the voltage between P and N. Is it in 220V~400V?

          Check the wiring of the reactor. Is it well connected?

            Remove the reactor connections. Test the resistance value. Is the resistance value around 0 ohms?
